Beach Edits

Sometimes a photo is absolutely perfect the way it is, and sometimes even though that is 100% true, adding some drama, and making some tweaks is really fun, and the results can be too!

In the below image I have done lots of work from global adjustments to replacing the sky with something more dramatic and colorful.

I’ve cleaned up sand, and removed dead plants

I softened parts, and sharpened others, I did some creative dodge and burn for subject depth, this was photographed quickly and sometimes you get what you get when it comes to focus.

And lastly even though I loved the original, I composited the tallest child in the back for one that shows her a bit more, creating an adorable stair step composition.

When photographing littles you do the best you can….. and then send it to me to fix it in post ;)
